ANODIZING HANDBOOK FOR ALUMINUM BY ANODIC INC.
A MUST HAVE FOR ALL PRESENT AND FUTURE ANODIC CUSTOMERS
Anodic, Inc. has been supplying anodic coatings on aluminum for aerospace applications since 1955. Aluminum finishing (Anodizing, Hardcoating & Chem-Filming) of all aluminum alloys was pioneered by Anodic, Inc.
Now the CEO and General Manager of Anodic has written a Handbook that tells you all about the cutting edge process of corrosion resistant, non-conductive and high dielectric strength anodic coatings that meet all industrial and military specifications. Included in the handbook is detailed information covering everything you need to know to get your parts Anodized or Hardcoated by Anodic.
Using Anodic’s 45 years of experience the hand book is filled with useful information about materials and processes for Anodizing and Hard coating.
Hardcoat anodized surfaces are produced by the dissolution of aluminum, forming (AL3O3H2O) aluminum oxide. This electro-chemical process produces an integral coating just under the hardness of diamond so there are lots of applications .
The hand book describes some of the capabilities of ANODIC INC, RT 111 in Stevenson, CT 06491 (like Anodic coating of up to .015 thickness (on selected alloys) that can be sealed , dyed most colors, dry film lubed or Teflon impregnated. It describes how Anodize is a great base for paint, powder coatings and adhesives. Anodic, Inc. is approved by over 300 manufacturers, NASA, the FDA, all major aircraft manufacturers, and is NADCAP listed. .
